Hello Panda is a brand of Japanese biscuit, manufactured by Meiji Seika. Each bite size biscuit consists of a small hollow shortbread layer, filled with either milk cream, strawberry, or chocolate filling; chocolate is the most commonly available variety. Recently a yellow-boxed version containing the biscuits with a chocolate shell (instead of the usual shortbread) was released. It was first released in Japan during the Summer of 1979.
